If you are looking for a rare turned wooden bowls and happen to live in the Richmond area you are in luck. Living on Grove recently began carrying Frederick Williamson hand turned wooden bowls made from a from Tulip Poplar off the Jefferson estate of Monticello. The hand carved bowls are just gorgeous and are going to be rare as this is the only tree I believe that he is using. The tree was supposedly planted by Jefferson himself but none the less that quality and craftsmanship is outstanding and you can find them at Living on Grove in Richmond Virginia.
