Hand Carved Bowls In Virginia

One hand carved bowl is not the same as the next, that’s for sure. The ones I found at Living on Grove prove this point as there are only a finite number of them being made. These wooden bowls were crafted from a fallen Tulip Polar tree from the house of Thomas Jefferson, Monticello. Through a careful arrangement, Living On Grove was able to display of few of these bowls for sale. They say that Thomas Jefferson actually planted this particular tree, so you can only imagine that this bowl is going to be completely irreplaceable and unique in every way. Each wooden bowl is hand carved and constructed by master artisan Frederick Williamson and hand turned on a wood lathe. They are then sanded and polished with loving care to an incredible finish. Turned Wooden Bowls Now In Richmond

If you are looking for a rare turned wooden bowls and happen to live in the Richmond area you are in luck. Living on Grove recently began carrying Frederick Williamson hand turned wooden bowls made from a from Tulip Poplar off the Jefferson estate of Monticello. The hand carved bowls are just gorgeous and are going to be rare as this is the only tree I believe that he is using.
