Letterpress Wedding Invitations Type Selection

There are literally hundreds of letterpress type faces, or fonts, available to our customers for use on letterpress wedding invitations, letterpress birth announcements and other printed matter. What on earth are we to do?

Some fonts have “feet”, or serifs. Others have no “feet”, or sans serif. Each conveys a different feeling or look. Some fonts are bold, and they shout at the reader, and that is fine because they were designed that way. Others are very fine and delicate and quiet and dignified and subtle…they speak softly and encourage calm and respect. So again, what are we to do?
